Winter Field Day will be held on Saturday, Jan 24th, 2026 at the EOC. All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the event.
General Information
Meeting Types
We have a few different forms of "meetings":
Monthly Meetings (in person), 7PM on the first Monday of the month at the EOC.
Weekly Breakfast Meetings (in person):
Donut Meeting, on Thursday mornings at 9AM a the EOC. Please do not come early to this event. Also, it is subject to changes to location, and possibly not being held. Check the club social media, or listen to the net announcements for more details on a given week.
Saturday Breakfast ("Breakfast at the Grill"), on Saturday mornings at AM at Anderson Grill.
We also currently have three nets throughout the week (on the air):
Wednesday Net on the W9VCF repeater, at 8PM.
StormNet Exercise on the W9OBH repeater at 8PM on Sundays.
UHF Net at 8PM on Thursdays.
We have one off events (such as POTA activations, Special Event Stations, etc), that we don't do on a set schedule. These are planned in advance, and should be on the calendar.
Lastly, we have outreach events. This is where we go to a larger event (usually a fair, or other gathering of people), and set up a booth or table. This is to get more people interested in radio.
Event Locations
Generally, we have our meetings at 200 N Deleware, Anderson IN. This is where we have the Monthly Meeting, as well as the weekly Thursday Donut Meeting
For the Saturday Breakfast, we meet at the Anderson Grill, 2038 S Scatterfield Road, Anderson IN.
For the real POTA activations, we will be at Mounds State Park, 4306 Mounds Rd, Anderson IN.
One note on this, is that we may not be doing real POTA all the time we go out. We plan to go to different places throughout the county. It is best to check the notes below the calendar for specific details on something.
